To maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, only trained service animals are permitted inside our building. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is a dog trained to perform a specific task for a person with a disability. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and pets are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not allowed indoors. We kindly ask that these animals remain at home or safely in your vehicle during your visit.
The salon is staffed by licensed volunteers from our community. To see when the salon is scheduled, please check our Upcoming Events (/upcoming-events)page. We cannot take appointments, so we recommend being here when we open. When you come inside, please let the staff member at the door know that you would like to be put on the salon list. We recommend calling ODB that day before coming to confirm that the salon is will be open, as our volunteers sometimes have to cancel.

We partner with many different organizations in Payne County to provide education or a specific service. We offer programs of various types including classes focused on budgeting, cooking, life skills, gardening, and more! We also have partners who provide services like vision screenings, health screenings, flu shots, breast cancer screenings, and more. Many organizations will come and set up a table during one of our shopping sessions to provide education on what types of services they can provide and how to qualify. To see a list of and register for our upcoming programs and services, please visit our Upcoming Events (/upcoming-events)page!
As of now, we do not provide rent or utility assistance. We recognize that this is a growing need in our community and are able to refer you to local agencies who are able to provide that type of help as funding is available. Feel free to call 405-533-2555 ext. 110 with any further questions.
When our facility is closed to the public, so are the amenities inside. When our doors are open for shopping, feel free to use the restroom or grab some water while you’re here!
Yes, you can go to one of our Mobile Markets and come to ODB to shop within the same month. When you shop on our shopping floor, you do not have to take everything that is available to you. You can pick and choose what items are best suited for your living situation. We try to provide a variety of groceries to choose from to accommodate any type of living situation. If you still do not feel comfortable shopping, we can provide you with an emergency bag, which is made up of 1 bag of non-perishables, 1 bag of produce, and 1 loaf of bread. You can request an emergency bag at our Guest Entrance 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
During our Thursday shopping sessions from 11:00am - 1:30pm, we provide an AGP Program (Alternative Grocery Pickup). This includes a box of non-perishable items and bags of frozen items, refrigerated items, bread, and produce. You receive the same amount and types of food that you would see on our shopping floor, you just don’t get a choice as to what you receive. It is a much faster way of getting your groceries if your schedule is tight! When you arrive, let a staff member at the front door know that you would like to pick up a box, and they will get you checked in!
If it is your first time shopping with us, all you need to bring is an ID for yourself, ID’s for anybody else in your household, and proof of address. You can either bring pictures or physical copies of this information. If you do not have access to any of these, we are still able to serve you but we will ask that you bring it on your next visit!
If it is not your time to shop, we can get you an emergency food bag. An emergency food bag is usually 1 bag of non perishable items, 1 small bag of produce, and 1 loaf of bread. You can request an emergency food bag anytime from Monday-Friday 9-5pm at our Guest Entrance. You may also call ahead so we have it ready for you when you come by.
We have handicap parking near our Guest Entrance, as well as walkers and wheelchairs available on site to use if needed while shopping.
