What is the process?

The Cushing Marketplace is a guest-choice shopping experience!

First, all guests receive a number at the door. When your number is called, you will go into an intake office to get checked in.

Next, you are called by name from the waiting room to the shopping floor, where a shopping assistant has a shopping list, will bag your groceries, and answer any questions you have throughout the entire shopping experience.

Finally, your assistant will help load groceries into your vehicle.

Give Time

We LOVE our volunteers! It takes us all working together to make our guests feel welcomed and keep our shopping floor full. From unloading groceries to shopping with our guests, there are many different roles and tasks from which to choose. Read through our volunteer agreement linked below and then find a place to serve on our sign up sheet also linked below.

Give Donations

We believe hunger in Payne County should be nonexistent. The symptoms of hunger go far beyond our pantries, bodies, and overall health. Hunger impacts someone's ability to learn, lead, play, and live fully. It ultimately affects the core of our community. Our goal is to help community members step out of the poverty cycle and improve our corner of the world and the lives of our neighbors, friends, and families. The fight against hunger requires many hands, so join us - we've got work to do!

All donations designated for Cushing Marketplace will be used for Cushing Marketplace food purchases and supplies.
